“I think of photography like therapy.”

Harry Gruyaert

Photography has come into my life numerous times over the years, but I never took it too seriously until I needed an elective in college. I saw a black and white film class, bought a cheap Nikon SLR, and COMPLETELY LOST CONTROL OF MY WALLET. I’ve stuck with Nikon, but these days I shoot with a Z6, D750, and occasionally, still, my D7000 (crop sensors have a purpose).

Photography has allowed me to slow down in my hectic world. It really is therapy. When I can get away with just me and my camera, the stress of everything else just melts away. I get to slow down, and really look at the world around me.

Aside from all that, I get to work with some really great people. Between the models here in Oklahoma City and other photographers, I never run out of places or things to shoot, when I can find the time to do it.
